Mandala Floral - Biography / Interview Transcript

Hi, I'm Mallory Lutz, owner operator at Mandala Floral in McKenzie Towne. We're a local flower shop, specializing in weddings and events. We focus on thinking outside the box, and creating arrangements with a unique twist, a little something different for everybody.

Our customers come to us wanting something original, something that says something about them, something they can't get anywhere else. Flowers set the tone for every occasion, and they say a lot about your personality and what you're having that event and that occasion for. Everybody expresses themselves through a lot of different ways, and flowers is a really good way to do that. Flowers, you can say a lot about yourself through how you decorate an event or your house.

Weddings are important to us because we get to be a part of one of the biggest days of our clients' lives. We get to make it easier for them to enjoy their day, because they know when they use us for flowers, they're going to get exactly what they want, and it's going to be beautiful. It's going to really reflect them.

We're always trying to incorporate other aspects of the wedding into flowers, whether it's linens or part of dresses, or little accents, feathers, anything that really tells your story, we can bring into the flowers, to make it more personalized to you.

Our designers are really, really experienced in using all sorts of interesting products to enhance the flower arrangements. We use birchwood, we use all sorts of wire, feathers, anything that's kind of creative and outside the box. We're always looking for the lastest trends. We're all out there finding things we like, and how to incorporate that into flowers. We build works of art for weddings.

We like weddings because it's exciting, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for a bride to plan a day to celebrate her life with her fiance, and really bring out their personality in everything they do. We get to make that exciting, and we get to get them excited about their flowers.

Well, we want all of our clients to feel that they got the best value for their money, and that they got everything they wanted, and that years from now, they can look back at their wedding flowers, and absolutely love them still.
